Magic Sand contains 5% iron for greener foliage as well as supplemental traces of sulfur, zinc, calcium, and magnesium. It also contains strains of bacteria that convert the sulfur into acids, creating a pH range of 4 to 5 and making it an essential amendment for alkaline soils. Magic Sand should be used to help cure iron chlorosis, improve water retention, build strong roots, and reduce the stress caused by hot weather. It should be mixed in with soil at the time of planting and applied twice a year to established plantings.
